Guys,

Wondering if someone can answer me a quick question? Maybe someone who works at OCUK might stumble upon this?

Has anyone recently bought the Gigabyte GA-965P DS3 from OCUK? And if so, what revision are they currently stocking...Rev 1 or Rev 2???

I emailed the customer services to ask what revision they had in stock but they replied and said they couldn't guarantee which revision I would receive if I ordered.

I wasnt asking for them to give me a "You'll definatley get a revision 2" answer...just a "Looks like the stock we have is revision 2" would have done

Lazy methinks :( Don't these guys want my money??

I'd appreciate it if anyone can chime in (specially if you've recently bought this board from this site)

Cheers guys :)

Got one about a month ago and it was a rev 3.3. The rev 3.3 has been around for quite a while so I would be surprised if you got a rev 1.0 or 2.0

Jaric,

I am thinking about buying the exact same Mobo, Ram and CPU as you and trying a little overclocking.

What cooling are you using and was it easy to get that CD2 to the speeds in your sig? Wouldn't mind picking your brains on that if I go through with this purchase

I also have an X1800XT (Which I'll be replacing a little later on)

OK guys,

Another question? (Using this thread rather than create another)

What's the onboard sound like on the DS3?

I have an Audigy 2 ZS and don't really care for it much to be honest...if the Onboard sound is as good or better, I'll use it!! Just wondering what sort of performance hit I should expect by using the onboard as opposed to the Audigy 2?

Using onboard will also save me a PCI slot and save some clutter in the case too...

Thoughts anyone?
