Gigabyte ga-965p-ds3p FAULT

Hi Guys

I am using the above motherboard which I have had for about 5 years now.

Suddenly the audio has started playing up, iTunes is fine but if i play toutube videos or play a game the audio is making a weird noise every few seconds like a buzzing or like modulation noise is best way to describe it!

anyone got any ideas why??

my brother-in laws had same problem and it was cured by installing latest realtek hd audio drivers. So try similiar.

Ok I have updated the audio driver and this has not fixed the issue.

I have looked closer and the youtube videos are actually stalling and my system is suddenly running very poorly, the mouse has even become jumpy.

Not sure if this is a Mobo issue or something more serious.

Any kind of tests i can run guys to check cpu/mem/mobo??

any further thoughts on this? still having major issues, is there a good hardware test tool out there?
