hi,
I've been offed this motherboard what processor and memory would people recommend??

I run this board with an E6300 cpu (in sig), but if you are overclocking the low multi is a pain so unless you get one really cheap and fancy a challenge I would try something else. As for memory any decent 800MHz DDR2 will allow for overclocking.

depends on your budget and what your gonna use it for.

I had a Q6600 running in the DS3P which is the same board minus the fancy heatsinks.

Can i use this memory in the GA-965P-DS4 motherboard?

Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel (KHX8500D2K2/4G)

gigabyte web site says it will take ddr2 800 so will it be posible to clock at 1066? or is there not really any benifit in the extra memory speed?

it seems to take most of the processors so next step will be in choosing a processor
