I am thinking of buying this motherboard to go with a 9850BE that I am running on an Asus AM2 board at the moment.
What I would like to know is it says that it supports crossfire, as I have a Nvidia 8800GTS 640mb card, will it run in this board.

A single GTS will run fine. SLi of two nvidia cards wont.

Trunks9486, thanks for that reply, i only have one card and as i am not a hardened gamer I will not be using Sli anyway.

Nvida insist they license SLI compatibility unsurpringly ATI prefer to use their Crossfire technology.

So no SLI on an ATI chipset and no crossfire nvidia on nvida chipsets.

Nice board though.

Nvidia chipset motherboard only use SLi - dont work on Ati Xfire
AMD chipset motherboard only use Xfire - dont work on Nvidia Sli

so use one Nvidia card that fine on this board.... like one ATI card on Nvidia motherboard but not 2 cards.

I used Nvidia motherboard (M59SLI-S5 for AM2) and 2 Cards (GF9600GT XXX) into SLi mode.
