Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD3P CPU?

Hi All,

I have the above Motherboard, reading spec sheet on site I'm left a little confused.

Whats the BEST CPU this main board can take for AMD?

It currentl has a Phenom II, x4 955 clocked at 3.7ghz.

Phenom II X6 1100T ?

you may need to update to the latest bios though.

is a AMD Phenom II X6 1090T much of a speed upgrade in terms for games compared to my current CPU?

Obivsouly not as good as getting one of latest I know! Money though

It will be the most cost effective upgrade for that board if it works.
