Gigabyte GA-P31-DS3L I think this should have been in here instead of general

Ok Ive got a slight problem. I bought a Gigabyte GA-P31-DS3L motherboard yesterday. I had quite a few problems but finally got vista ultimate 64 installed. I have now been trying to install 32 bit ultimate instead however the install keeps crashing. It will get through the black screen for loading windows files, then go through the green status bar light. However at the next screen when everything goes all fancy colours, where you usually get the Install now window it hangs. Its really driving me up the wall now. Has anyone else had this problem before. I wouldnt care but I have just bought a new hard drive as well and it does it with both old and new drives. My system is as detailed below:

Gigabyte GA-P31-DS3L Motherboard (running at stock)
Core 2 Duo E4400 with Evo 120 Cooler
2 x 1 GB Kingston DDR 667 Ram
1 x 250 gb Maxtor Sata Drive
1 x 200gb Seagate Maxtor Drive (this is the new drive)
Club 3d 8800GTS 320 mb
Creative Soundblaster Audigy

This isn't hardware - it's Windows. I would strongly suggest you wipe the HDD completely using a tool like Dariks Boot and Nuke. Naturally, you need to back everything up first as once you've used that, nothing's coming back!
