Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L + e5200

if i buy all of the new kit today will the mobo boot up with an e5200 ?

or would it need an update 1st ?

I believe that you will have to flash your BIOS first.

ahhh bugger, bit of a problem then because its a new system, any £60ish boards that i wont have to with ?

Should be fien, I bought one for a friend a few days ago and it booted an E8400 fine with no problems so I wouldn't imagine it would have issues with an E5200, although it is luck of the draw to a point.

down to what version of the bios it has ?

According to Gigabytes site it needs Bios F9A if thats any help
I have a p31dsl and needed Bios F10A just for the e5200 i tried it with F9 and wouldn't work
