Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R/Asus P5KC are the memory slots shared for ddr2 and 3?

i can see 6 in total.

I am guessing 3 of each? :confused:

i think there are 2 slots for ddr3 and 4 slots for ddr2

On the Gigabyte GA_P35C_DS3R you have 4 slots for the DDR2 and 2 for the DDR3, if you would look at the picture here I would guess it is the 2 green RAM slots that is DDR3.

Yup, just got the Gigabyte board, and the 2 green slots are reserved for ddr3.
