looking for a new board which will be paired with an i5 200k, want to have a black red theme but dont want to stump up 300 quid on the Asus MAXIMUS IV EXTREME, so the Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4 is the ony other option i can see.

I have gt570 and will do sli in the future so is 8x x8 sli that much difference to 16 x 16?

Thanks Tony

Installed a UD4-B3 on Saturday and seems to be working fine so far.

One weird thing I have noticed is that, when I reboot the machine, sometimes it seems to have two or three "goes" at it before coming back up, powering off in between, whereas most times it's fine.

Did you flash the bios to v7? That fixed it for a few people it seems.

I have the ud4 and also have a red/black theme but I can forgive the odd touch of blue and blue sata that come with.

Any good? Yes, most definitely!

Thanks for the reply. do you any pics of the board installed!!?? Would like to see how it looks with the red n black theme

Can always atempt to paint the blue bits black but thats always going to end up messy!!!

i have swapped to a ud4 last night and using the F3B
can find a link later if anyone wants it.

superb bios, brilliant board for the money.
the b3 revision has pll overvoltage as standard [something the b2 lacked]
wish i had just got that in the first place.
cant fault gigabyte recently. their motherboards are solid, they have even made them look better now too!
sure they may not have the features of the asus pricepoint equivalents but i would take a stable system over bluetooth connectivity any day of the week :D

^Good board there you have ordered,if i didnt have my GD65 to install this would for sure be my second choice board to get,you dont hear hardly any problems with these boards.

And when i had a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5 mobo it was the best mobo i ever had,Gigabyte make the best mobos imo,i only went with the Asus Deluxe and then the MSI GD65 as i wanted the flashy bios:).

Jezz i hope my MSI GD65 dosent cause me any issues :)
