Hi, as the subject says...

What's happening is if I have one of my HD-2900-Pro's in the 1st PCI-E 16x slot I get no display, my monitor says it's not getting a signal...if I put it in the second slot it works fine...I've tried 2 HD-2900-Pros, both with the same results.

I don't have a speaker on the mobo yet so dunno if there's any beep codes.
I've updated the BIOS to the latest version.

Anybody had this problem? Is it time to just give up and RMA it?

if you need anymore info just ask :)

Thanks for your time.

I am using that board with a 2900 Pro in the first PCI-E slot without any problems whatsoever.

Go into BIOS and make sure ALL graphics/PCI-E settings are at default (or Normal) values.

Try another PCI-E (non 2900 Pro) in the first slot and see what happens.

It could also be a faulty 1st PCI-E slot, in which case you will need to RMA your board. :)

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you...tried your tips and a whole bunch of other thoughts I had and had no luck...looks like a faulty PCI-E slot...RMA'd it. Hopefully I won't need to wait too long to get a replacement.

Thanks for your help though. :)
