Currently got the setup going but the main issue is that I cannot get into BIOS at all.

During post, the usual beeps happen and no "Gigabyte" screen but instead goes straight into loading Windows.

I want to turn off the Intel VGA as I want to use my Sapphire HD6950 as my main video .... but I can't get into BIOS to do that :(

I've tried many things:
- Hitting DEL (this goes to a Windows diagnostic screen) but the manual says to hit DEL to enter BIOS.
- Clearing CMOS .... done this a few times and no effect.
- Updated BIOS, used @BIOS and updated the BIOS to F5 which is the latest.

Other than that its got a wierd issue detecting some USB keyboards during POST. My Roccat ARVO doesn't get detected but an old Hiper keyboard works fine.

Anyone got any suggestions, greatly appreciated.

Pull the battery out for a bit.

Hammer the del key when you power up

Have you tried swapping to the backup bios?

Yep, done that.

Soooooooooooooooooooooo after hours of faffing about ...... the motherboard just doesn't like my Sapphire HD6950. Once I took that out, I could go into BIOS. Strange thing is that is shows up on Windows 7 which means the BIOS needs a bit of maturing.

The motherboard still doesn't like my Roccat ARVO keyboard .... that's annoying.

Ordered a 660TI and let's hope that is the end of it :(

got an old ps/2 keyboard to try?

take out the gpu, and use on board, and boot it.

try a few things

Luckily I already had an old USB keyboard which works with the motherboard, so its ok for now.

It was using onboard, just that it couldn't use the GPU :( Hopefully the 660TI I ordered would be accepted by the motherboard.

Tried it in the lower pcie slot if you have one?

hot off the press latest beta bios for that board, you can flash back if it doesn't fix your graphic card issue

I tried on both the 16x and 8x slots, I didn't see a point with the others as it would be gimping my GPU performance.

Its definitely one thing I will try tonight after I get home from work is the new beta BIOS. Had it downloaded last night but I opted not to try it cause it was getting to almost 5am in the morning and I needed to sleep :D

Well the KFA2 660TI I ordered worked ...... I've read on the Gigabyte forums someone having issues with a particular SSD. Looks like the BIOS isn't very mature. The HD 6950 goes into sell pile now.

There looks to be an issue with SATAII SSD and the Z87 chipset.
