Hello all.

I noticed that within the specification description of this motherboard on the main website it says 'With support for ATI CrossFire'. Does this mean that it also supports SLi or just crossfire only? As I always assumed that if a board was crossfire compatible it was also SLi compatible too?

Just Crossfire.

nVidia have so far refused to give Intel a license for SLi on their chipset boards. You need an nVidia chipset board to run SLi on an Intel system.

In theory it is possible to run SLi on the P35-DS4, but drivers cannot be released until nVidia give the go-ahead.

It is ATI crossfire only there is no SLI support.

nForce 780i is out in November however if you want to wait for that. Good old Triple SLi

But that doesn't stop a single 8800 GTX from working on that motherboard does it?

Nope a single nVidia card will work fine in a P35-DS4.
