Gigabyte GA_P35C_DS3R temps

Hi all,

Quick question here. I have a Gigabyte GA_P35C_DS3R motherboard with E6600 and 8800GTS with an Antec P182 case, now my temps seem fine apart from my mobo is sitting around 50c. Is this ok for this mobo or should it not be that high?

Mine is at 40 degrees so not too much difference, I do have good airflow so maybe thats what makes the difference.

I have exactly the same case and motherboard and my mobo sits around 40C (but my processor at 32C!)

I think the mobo sensor in my case is over reading slightly as I cant find anywhere in my case that sits over 30C with the side panel off and a thermometer in the case.

i have the same setup, my mboard sits at 45c with the cpu normally idling at 31c

Yea nothing else is too hot, for example my CPU currently sits at 26c idle so i do wonder if the 50c reading is correct. I havent had any problems with it though but wondered if it was normal for this type of mobo.

Kinda like when i learned how hot the 8800 cards can get while doing it safely
