Odd query here as it's about sound through my graphics card.

I have a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 8GB AORUS MASTER Ampere. I also have a soundbar that supports dolby atmos but only if it is plugged into an eARC HDMI.

I've been looking for ages but i cant find any documentation to say whether an HDMI port on my Graphics card supports e-ARC, and if so, which one/s!

I can get the soundbar playing normal dolby surround through regular HDMI IN on the bar, but for atmos it needs to use the e-ARC HDMI port on it, and as soon as i plug the cable into that, the soundbar disappears as an option in Windows.

I have all the correct cables etc.

Update: it is working now, but ONLY in the Dolby atmos app. If i load a Youtube video, for example which supposedly is encoded in dolby atmos, the little indicator light still doesnt show up.

Netflix Premium Account playing a Dolby Atmos supported film and no sign of the Dolby Atmos indicator light lighting up either :(

I guess this thread can be closed though as it's deffo not a gfx card issue.
