What does the following actually mean:
Does it mean the buyer is out of luck two years from purchase date if the card was manufactured three years earlier? Or would the buyer's three years warranty be honoured and the distributors and dealers have to foot the bill in such cases instead of Gigabyte? Or something else?

"Graphics cards: GIGABYTE provides 3 years warranty from the production date. The warranty applies exclusively to distributors and dealers. End users have to claim the RMA service through dealers where the product was purchased."
