I have a couple of dead Gigabyte GPUs that I'd like to RMA. For a while, I have assumed I'm out of luck as I purchased them without the original receipts. I should add that I live in Norway, and the main difference between the UK warranty and the Norwegian one seems to be the part "1st year please contact place of purchase. Years 2-3 contact [email protected] directly. Repair or replace for same or better performance.", which we do not have over here.

The question I'm wondering about is if this means I could "sweet talk" with a distributor and make them take care of it for me, even without a receipt? What other options do I have?

@GIGA-Man - maybe you have some valuable input here :)
 
I have no control over the RMA for Norway, the main rule we have is

1st year please contact place of purchase. Years 2-3 contact [email protected] directly.

Repair only with no proof of purchase or repair or replace for same or better performance, if you do have an invoice."
