Gigabyte HD7950 issue with HDMI

Hi,

Trying out a 7950 in a second rig and whilst it works perfectly once in windows there is no POST screen etc, press the power button and its black until it gets into windows then there is no problem is this a known issue?

You using a Hdtv? They been reports about some TVs don't able to show the low res of the post screen.

yeah I am, I thought it could be that, but it worked on past NVidia cards ok. Its not a major problem although I need to run a chkdisk as my IRST isn't running and obviously it does that before booting into windows....... I guess I could always do it when I go to bed

Shame its voltage locked, quite happy at 1200/1500 which I don't think is too shabby

They was a thread a couple weeks back of a user with same issue, it does seem to be a AMD issue.

I can't remember if it said he fixed it. Am sure they was something like he fixed it.

I in work so no time to look about sorry maybe someone else can find it.
