Hi, I've been looking to buy this monitor since I saw it as it sounds like everything I've been looking for (KVM/G-Sync compatible). But after reading a bunch of reviews there are a fair few things which sound slightly troubling for my use case.

I spend most of my days looking at VS Code on MacOS, so having clear text is important for me, all of the reviews/posts mention issues with text, whilst I don't seemingly go up to my screen with a magnifying glass like some people do to inspect the subpixel layout, clarity and ease on the eyes is as important as gaming performance.

I'm just wondering how bad actually is it? I'm coming from my trustworthy U3415W/P2421DC, which is great and all for work and WoW - but I've just upgraded my PC and playing some games and the tearing is noticeable, and doesn't really show off my new rig, hence the want for an upgrade.

There's a review on rtings which talks about this particular issue. Its to do with the fact that it uses a "BGR" subpixel layout as opposed to the standard "RGB". I think from what I read it doesn't really affect Mac's? I might be wrong so worth checking it out

Also utter madness that the accountants were allowed to win at gimping the USB-C power delivery specs to just 10W charging! On a monitor being touted as the first gaming KVM capable monitor that's a shockingly bad effort from Gigabyte.
