Gigabyte m68mt-s2 - 3 beeps no display

Evening All,

In the process of building up my new HTPC and im having issues.

Everything is wired up correctly however im getting no display and three beeps on boot.

Also abit of a n00b at this so any assistance would be great.

Just a quick question, just how do you know so confidently that everything is wired up correctly?

I have been in this game for bloody years and I still have red faced oops moments.

Might be a good idea to list all the components that you are using and have a look in your manual that came with the board as to the meaning of the the three beeps you are getting. Are the long beeps or short beeps? Or a combination of both long and short? A small but vital missing piece of information.

Here is the diagnosis of 3 beeps:

1 Long Beep Followed by 2 Short Beeps = Monitor Or Graphics Card Error.

Can you confirm if this is the case?
