Don't know if anyone can help me out here. Have a Gigabyte M8000X, which has behaved fine in normal day-to-day use. But playing a game (FC3) for the first time with this mouse, at one point it started behaving strangely, sort of stuttering around the place. Unplugging it and plugging it back in resolved the problem. Then it did the same when I booted into Windows today, stuttering again. I tried it on another surface, and it seemed to respond better, but back on the gaming mat it went back to stuttering/lagging. Again, unplugging it and plugging it back in has returned it to normal. Doesn't seem to make any difference whether the drivers and software are installed or not...
Any advice?

It's a very clear-cut change in behaviour, something to do with the software or hardware...
