The mc12-le0 was a sick little mATX prosumer/enterprise board with a B550 chipset that wasn't expensive either.

After Ludwig did a home NAS build 9 months ago on it, stock has run out, and there are only scalpers selling it now for 6 times the original price.

  • Supported UDIMM ECC memory
  • 2 LAN ports and 1 management port
  • 6 SATA ports
  • 1 M.2
  • 1 PCIe Gen4 x16 and 1 x4 expansion slot
  • 53€ at a German retailer at one point and closer to £100 here.
There are AM5 and other boards like it but they are far more expensive. Hopefully this comes back into production and the price comes back down to normal.

@Armageus is there a reason why OC doesn't sell workstation and server motherboards?

I'm sure that there would be people, like myself, who would want a small form factor entry-level to midrange workstation motherboard for their home setup. Products like the MC13-LE0 or mc12-le0.

There are cheaper workstation boards from a lot of brands that won't have server grade features but would have IPMI or ECC RAM support and are mATX.
