Gigabyte mobo- is my RAM the right way round?

Hi all, can I ask a favour from someone who knows motherboards and RAM better than I do?
I have 2x2GB DDR2 and I thought I was running in dual channel on my Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ6. There are two yellow RAM slots and two red ones, yellow are marked 1 and 2 and red are 3 and 4.

I checked the manual, the link is HERE (click) and I'm a bit lost, on page 16/17 it explains how to run RAM in dual channel but can someone just confirm that slots 1 and 2 run in dual channel and 3 and 4 do too, but not 1 and 3, or 2 and 4?

Or have I got it wrong and I need to set them up in the latter configuration?

It looks to me like your two sticks of ram should be in the two yellow slots.

Cracking. That's what I thought but one part confused me when it said each channel was 1 and 3, and 2 and 4 respectively, or something. Thanks!
