Right, this is something ive been meaning to post about for a while now but just havent got arround to it. To put you in the picture im running a Q6600 GO, Gigabyte DSR3 Mobo and 2 GB of Crucial Ballistix PC5300.

Sometimes when i turn my PC off or press the reset button the screen will go black and there will be a high pitched beep. The computer will turn off totally, then turn itself on, the beep will happen again and it turns off again. I havent got a clue what this is all about, but anyone got any ideas ?

Thanks.

I don't have that exactly, but I do get a stutter at start-up.

If I haven't used the PC for a while and had the PSU switched off, I get this stutter. Basically I switch on, the fans and LEDs come alive, then it dies before POSTing. Then a few seconds later, it switches itself back on again and everything is fine.

It's a P35C-DS3R with an E2160 CPU. Corsair 650W PSU.

Yep i get that too. But when it dies it get this high pitched tone.

Its really buggin me now, i have the most up to date bios version too.
