I've got a Gigabyte Z87-D3HP with an Intel i5-4670k and a Shadow Rock Pro SR1 Cooler. I'm using samsung green 1600 ddr3 at stock speeds. The bios has automatically identified the timing settings for the RAM and I've left them alone. The power supply is tested in another machine and confirmed as ok, it's a Corsair HX750.
When I power the machine up, it starts ok, the fans spin, everything looks great for a second or so, and then before the Gigabyte splash screen, it powers down and then restarts. The same then happens again. It doesn't seem to matter how long I leave it it doesn't boot.
If I power off the psu at the switch on the back, leave it for a few seconds and then switch it back on and retry the boot, it works ok. Loads into windows, and off we go with no problems. Everything is fine until I switch the machine off, and then there are problems again.
Does anyone have any suggestions for what I might try to fix the issue?
