hey 1st post but having some serious problems, just built a new rig with gigabyte n650sli-ds4
E7650
bfg 88oogt oc2
Ocz platimun ddr2 6400
ezcool 700w

now when i turn it on it shows the first boot screen and then thats it thats as far as i get, keyboard has no effect so im pretty sure the system hangs there, now i have heard that there is a compatibility issue with that mobo and my processor, mainly i have to upgrade the bios before the mobo will recognise my cpu, is this true?, if not then any other ideas?. i have tried clearing the cmos and taking various parts out of the loop to see if it was psu prob but no change.

yeah ive already tried that, nothing changed, cant really up the voltage as the bios freezes, i reckon it is becasue of the cpu - mobo conflict but im just not sure and i dont want to buy a cheap processor that i can whack in and then take out once i have upgraded the bios withut being sure
