Gigabyte recently released a new tablet PC with 8.9-inch touch screen display. The Netbook M912V is an Atom powered tablet with decent specification. The M912V features swivel touch screen display that can be rotated 180°, 2.5” 160GB SATA hard drive, Express Card slot, optional HSDPA, and a built-in 1.3 mega pixels webcam.

1GB DDR2 RAM
160GB HDD
8.9”LCD panel/WXGA 1280x768, w/Touch screen, LED Backlight, as 180° rotation angle
80 key keyboard

The Netbook M912V will be available by this month for $699.

tbh i think i would have this over other netbooks as its got something special about it so will go nicely along side my desktop and high spec note book
 
I'm liking the looks of that a lot really, presumably the screen and be reversed 180 degrees and then laid flat onto the keyboard?

I'd love that :)

Price is a little off putting as $699 means we'll be paying around £450-£500 at launch most probably.

I'd prefer an SSD rather than an HDD in something that's aiming to be a netbook, but that's just personal taste.

This is definately one I'll be keeping an eye on though.
 
yer well dont know how it will develop but looking good 2 start with lets see where they go with it
