Just seen this laptop pop up on This Week Only!

This would be a perfect replacement for my old Sony Vaio (i5 450m jobby with a Ati 5650 card)

Just wondering how easy it is to shove an SSD in this machine along with that 1TB drive already with it?

If the Gigabyte rep is loitering around here aswell anychance you would have an ETA on when they will be with OCuk? :D

Hi rah !

Very easy to install ssd within the chassis as there is spare mSATA SSD bay waiting to be filled.

On the V3 model, you also have the option to remove the Optical drive (1 screw) and replace with caddy (supplied FOC with the laptop) that can take additional HDD or SSD.

We have notified OcUK that they are sold out of this product and "hopefully" they will order and get stock back in within next 2 days.

Hope that helps.

Just noticed after I posted that they are no longer on this week only! Guess I was browsing before it updated to this weeks deals!

I have made request to OcUK purchasing to look at thread and support the price,,,

There is more stock coming, so I hope we can see £799 again very soon.

Atom just another quick one - how easy is it to transfer the OS from the 1tb drive or fresh install it if I stick an SSD in there?
