Here's the deal on a E2160 and a Gigabyte P35-DS3 rev1.0 board:
9x400 = BOOT NOK
9x356 = BOOT OK
9x<360=BOOT OK
8x356 = BOOT NOK
7x356 = BOOT NOK

8x400 = BOOT NOK
I have a Gigabyte P35-DS3 rev1.0 board, I would have said FSB wall but as 8x356 is not booting and 9x356 is, I'm wondering if the board is a bit wierd, or would you people say it is the CPU? I can't seem to work this out.
If I was to upgrade to a Q6600 or Penryn later I don't want to be limited by a "faulty" board you get me?
Would it be the board or the CPU?
