I've got this motherboard(latest bios) along with a Intel C2D E6600 and 4x1gb of Corsair XMS2 CL4 800mhz memory.
I however see no option to change my memory timings in the bios at all.
I have the memory set to "extreme" but i have no idea what that means tbh.
When i run CpuZ and i look for every stick by itself, it says that it's cl 4, however on some other page, that is more of an overview of all the memory, it says cl 5.
So i'm thinking that CpuZ is reading the memory's spec cl level when it tells me it's cl4, but actual cl level when it tells me it's cl5, so i need to change that somehow.
As for results, they have been nothing short of amazing, i'm running a cheapo Arctic freezer 7 Pro and i still haven't found the actual limit, ran orthos for 20 minutes last night @ 3,51 ghz with memory at about 930 mhz or so.
I've booted and everything fine untill a bluescreen an hour into my day or so at 3,75 ghz.
I'm having the motherboard regulate the voltages, i assume it does a decent job of that?
Also, for some reason, it regulates the clock of the CPU, it sits at 2400 untill there is some load, then it scales up right away..
Don't know why it does that because i specificly turned that option off in the bios.
