Gigabyte P35C DS3R - Can it do SSD?

Will Gigabyte's P35C DS3R Motherboard accept solid-state discs? I was wondering because someday I would like to be able to boot Windows 7 from one, and have additional programmes running from a separate TB hard disc.

I don't see why not - has it got AHCI? (check your BIOS settings)

Have the same board, it does have AHCI in bios so you could run SSD's
