My motherboard just emitted about a minute of short beeps for no apparent reason while I was browsing the web. The PC had been on for about an hour, normal temps, not doing anything particularly extraordinary with it. Anyone know what this means?

The NB heatsink was hot to touch (had it at +0.1v for RAM stability) so I've turned the voltage down. It's been running fine like that for a few months though, don't see why that would have suddenly become an issue.

It hasn't gone off since, and has been on all day today. Will have a look at Gigabyte's support.

EDIT: It just happened again. Oddly enough, when it occurs everything works fine while it is beeping (music, mouse cursor, internet, everything) except my keyboard, which was new yesterday. When I hit ctrl+alt on the keyboard, it stops. I did this last time in the process of hitting ctrl alt del, and the beeping stopped, and tried it again just now and it worked. It also happened both times while I was typing. This is weird!!! Any ideas?

Hey you're right! It happens if I hit 4+ keys and enter. It's just strange that it keeps beeping rather than beeping once.
