Afternoon people,

Mate of mine has a motherboard which I'm 90% sure is causing the problem's he's having anyway, he bought it back in Feb of 08 so its still in warranty however I cant find anything on there website regarding returning faulty products or anything relating to an RMA process, all the relevant links seem to end up in them same 'Contact Us' page when you send them a message.

Is this the only way, has anyone dealt with Gigabyte before? I've heard shocking things about the customer service they provide.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's under a year old so he can RMA it to the shop he got it from. First 12 month's warranty is with the retailer. After that the remaining warranty is with the manufacturer.

yes the first thing your m8 needs to do is to contact the shop. this is general rule. only if shop will make him any problems or just disappear (gone bankrupt for instance) then contact with gigabyte rma. my friend tried it through gbt uk directly and he was very satisfied so i am surprised when you say about "shocking customer service". comparing to asus, where rma takes MANY weeks, gigabyte is really great.
