Gigabyte Sabre

Currently on holiday in the US and thinking of buying a Gigabyte Sabre 17K-KB3 since it is considerably cheaper here. Can anyone confirm that the warranty will be valid in the UK?

I would assume that warranty shouldn't be an issue as it's still the same brand of laptop. Although the uk warranty page states that

Only certain product models that have been offered for Online Product Registration qualify for global warranty coverage. Please ask the store where the product was purchased if it qualifies for global warranty coverage.
