I bought a Gigabyte H55M-UD2H plus stuff from Overclockers, which on first build failed to boot - with no post beeps. Eventually RMA'd it to OC, who said it had pin damage on the cpu socket. Indeed it did, on a couple of pins - although as a long-term builder really not sure how I would have caused it. Either way, I picked up a charge of £20-ish.
Found a link to Gigabyte UK service and after going through their support service (excellent), then RMA service - and being completely open about what had happened - sent it to them. Within three days I have it back, repaired and no charge!
Conclusion I shall always have a very strong preference to use Gigabyte.
