ive got an ocuk overclocked bundle and an wanting to update the bios.

if i do this will the saved ocuk overclocked profile still be saved for me to load or does this get wiped during bios update?

the reson i want to upgrade from the F7 bios is the sleep issue which many people are getting where by uppon "wake," there is no monitor signal coming through.

It wipes but you can save the bios to a USB before hanf and reload it after. I had the same problem with the F7.

In the bios hit like F11 or F12 to save to bios then at bottom slot should say usb or flash drive or something.

im having a similar sleep type issue, where the computer turns off, i have to start it up again but the monitor doesnt come on, then power off by holding for 10 seconds and start again, once windows starts the windows i had open are still open so it seems to be sleep related?

how did you manage to fix it?

Same problem.

Did the F9 bios update fix the sleep issue you were having?

The ocuk bios settings are only warranted for the original bios, for the simple reason that the optimal settings will vary from one bios to the next. If flashing the bios to a newer one it is best to overclock from scratch rather than rely on previous settings. At the least you will need to stability test after the flash.

the f9 beta bios has fixed my resume from sleep issue yeah. i have just reloaded the ocuk overclock setting as well and seems to be fine.

i've disabled windows 7 from sleeping and all seems well so far system hasnt turned off or anything yet, i'm a little worried about upgrading the bios incase I lose the OC settings etc
