Gigabyte UD2H + AMD 555 overclock

Hi guys,


I've got 2 questions



1) I just overclocked my 555 to 3.6ghz, up multiplier to 18 and changed vcore to 1.375, does this seem okay? Or should i give it more or less voltage?

2) How do you get in safe mode with this motherboard? :S i can't see a option in boot screen

It's actually 1.344v,

been running Prime95 for an hour now and temps seem to be stuck on 36 degrees 1 core, 51 degrees 2nd core.

Is that good?

I'll try and reseat the cooler to be sure its sat flush so core 2 temp comes down abit.
But other than that the temps seems fine. Have you tired to unlock the cpu?

Hey mate,


Well on idle now core 1 is 27c core 2 is 28c

I'm not really sure why the difference, it's only an artic freezer pro rev 2 so not expecting great temps xD.

I tried to look for an option to unlock but couldn't find, like to enable the cores, it only shows me core 1 and core 2.

Enter BIOS.
Set Automatic Clock Calibration (ACC) AUTO.
Gigabyte : Enable "Unleashing" or change "EC Firmware" mode to "Hybrid"
Reboot.

I just did, it unlocked into quad, anything else i should be aware of now? Should I run Prime again? lol

Yep run prime for atlease a few hours and if there is no errors, Then its a succesfull unlock.
Freezer pro is starting to how its age. I did have a freezer pro but replaced with an all in one water cooler.
