COOL thanks for this info ill have a mess about then :D
BTW do i use the wizzard in windows from easytune? or is it best to sort it in bios ( the old school way?) thanks again

Hi, These are the settings I used to get a stable 4.0GHz -
cpu freq - 4.00ghz (211x19)
turbo boost tech - disabled
cpu multi threading - enabled
uncore freq - (x13) 2743mhz
performance enhance - standard
mem multi - 6.0/1266
cpu vcore - 1.3125
qpi/vtt - 1.32
ioh core - auto
dram volt 1.64
I have a few things the same so should not be much difference. I could probably tweek a few settings/lower them abit but my temps don't go over 70c full load so...
Good luck, let us know how you get on!

Hello ive tryed this but i cant seam to get it right lol erm ill do a bios update and try again .. IS it possible for u to post some screens of your bios settings my be im missing something thanks again :D

yes ofc i saved my settings :D im thinking i dont really notice that much from the 2.66 settings ? why is this should it look faster? or am i missing something??

Oh when i got it sorted.. can i leave the computer on all the time? like 24/7 i dont norm turn my pcs off at all only if i get a crash or blue screen.. im just asking coss i dont want to burn out the CPU running higher then normal. etc i dont have the cash to keep bunging out :D

Ps Long hours palying WOW and stuff too :D

To be honest, with my i7, even at baseclock WoW takes up a maximum of 30% CPU power...

WoW just isn't an intensive game for current technology anymore. For a start it was written for single core machines and you actually need to tell it that it can use more cores in the config.wtf file.

If all you're worried about is WoW, then I wouldn't worry about burnout too much.

need to tell it that it can use more cores in the config.wtf file.?? WOW how pray tell :D id be a happy bunneh if u show me :D
