Gigabyte Ud4 x99 or UD5 x99

Hiya guys,

Starting to order my X99 system, decided on a 5930K but looking at motherboards has me confused.

Really like the look of the UD4 and fancy a change but don't what to get it only to find out it's lacking some key features, especially anything that holds it back in regards to overclocking memory and Cpu.

Tbh looking at the specs on Ocuk it doesn't look like it, but thought it best to check before ordering.

Also..what's the difference between the UD4 and 5?

the ud5 has wifi? and is eatx,ud4 is atx

usually they tend to have more power phases the higher end boards,but all boards should offer full overclocking

Well I just ordered the UD4, seems to tick all the boxes, now the long wait till payday for the ram and cpu.

UD4 is the way for me too. After seeing that the UD5 is EATX, I'll stick with a regular sized board.

OCUK also have the UD5 listed as ATX currently so thanks to wazza300 for that comparison table!

I use the UD4 all the time and it seems to be a nice solid board. I dunno about the silly bright LEDs that are around the IO Sheild or the ones inside but they can be turned off or unplugged.
