Anyone else ever had a problem with Gigabyte UEFI bios giving a blank screen?

If i plug into the motherboard and use the CPU graphics then the UEFI Bios / boot select works just fine but if i plug into my graphics card then the UEFI graphics just show a blank black screen?

Mate had this on a z77 ud3, it hated the gpu and required a bios update on the motherboard to work.

Yeah it's a complete pain as i can't access the F12 boot menu either.

Did you try any other graphics cards ?

did you give the discrete graphics card priority?

Tried that and i also disabled the CPU graphics and set the primary graphics slot to the offboard card but still no luck , Why it's not rendering the bios graphics is most bizzare.

I've searched on google and it seems to be a common complaint that nobody seems to have resovled and Gigabyte seem to be ignoring any reference to this problem which is strange.

He had to boot from the onboard graphics, update bios and then reinstall the card.

As for speaking directly to gigabyte, it can be a waste of time, usually 10 days minimum before you get a reply.

Thanks

Can you enter Qflash to stick a newer BIOS on it?

Yeah tried that but still the same , as i say from google it seems to be a common problem with most getting a blank screen but a couple getting a flashing cursor but i can't find anyone thats resolved it or tried a different card.

what is your mobo and bios ver?
what are you VGA & PSU models?
is it only problem with entering the uefi bios or this hardwware set does not post / boot into os too?

I ordered a Gigabyte GT 610 graphics card and i now have a working Bios screen so the GA-B75M-D3V must be really fussy with compatible graphics cards.
