hello my i have a gigabytte uefi bios. and i am reaching temps now it is getting warmer in my room from the weather in the uk around 98c with streaming.. it is too hot so i need to hopefully reset my overclock to default. i have been searching on my bios but i cannot find a reset to default. can someone help please? and also would Ocuk made a file back to my overclock if i wish to go back to it after?

load optimized settings are on the exit tab same place you should be able to make a save of your current settings to a profile

if that is your uefi

ok this is great thanks for your help. i have located this but only have 1 profile wwhich is the OCUK file with the overclock on the CPU. so what i have done is duplicated the same file to another profile now.. i am planning to reset that profiles overclock. do you know how i can do this in the bios?

do you have a usb memory stick?

your better off entering qflash from within the bios and save current oc/bios to the usb stick

that way your bios and oc will be safe on the usb stick and you can flash it if need be

to reset any oc load optimised defaults in the bios, but backup your current oc first just incase it wipes the oc profiles which it can do (same as flashing the bios it will lose your saved oc profiles)

I would say there is something wrong if you are getting CPU temp of 98c whilst streaming.

Have you thought about cleaning your case and checking your cooler/air flow ?

well the airflow above my pc is sucking air into the computer not pushing air out which i guess is normal.. my temps without streaming are fine considering streaming takes a lot of CPU power. my room gets very warm aswell because of the weather and it being small so i can understand why it can reach temps like this
