Gigabyte USB 3 headers

I have this motherboard http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3908#ov it has usb3 ports on the rear but I'm wondering if the headers are able to do usb3 as far as I'm aware the physical parts ie USB cables and case connectors will all work with usb3?

But the motherboard has 3 headers one red and white and two blue you can actually see them in the picture in the link. Anyone any idea if one of them will be usb3? The manual doesn't say and I suppose I can wait and test them all when my usb3 stick arrives but I thought I'd ask here anyway!
 
That motherboard has no usb3 header. Usb3 has extra pins for data so you would need a case with usb3 ports and a pci-e usb3 card with an internal 20pin port.
 
I was not aware that the hardware has changed too! I thought it was just like USB1 to USB2. So the motherboard can't do it and my case doesn't support it either I guess the best bet is just an extension from one of the rear ones then I assume the cable has to be a USB3 capable one too then?
