I boughta B-Grade here with a lot of apprehensions due to the cards reputation. Up until now it's been fine but i hadn't really been doing much gaming. I was told on these forums it can perform very well and is a good buy. In terms of FPS and everything else it really was a steal for £200 back half way through the first lockdown. Sometimes it can get very loud but as i haven't gamed much it hasn't been a problem.

Anyway, i only really play CSGO and Rocket League so not demanding games at all. CSGO was fine for the first few months but then I experienced a couple of crashes where the screen would go all black and then no response/i'd have to restart. Now I'm experiencing the same with Rocket League. It's unpredictable when it will happen, sometimes I can play for a few hours and get no problems at all - sometimes it's within 10mins of loading up the game.

Does this sound like it could be the fault of the card with a bad reputation or something else?

try playing with AMDs metrics open (alt + R in game and go to the performance tab) and keep an eye on temps as you play.

I had a long history with my Vega 56 having a black screen and 100% fans or horrible buzzing noise through speakers. After trying most sugegstions somebody on here said flush the old drivers and try the AMD enterprise drivers, I have not had a crash since. Good luck ;)

My Vega64 died recently and was doing this at first sorry.

It now boots us fine with LED's and normal fans but won't display anything at all. Such a shame as was it was a great card.

Bought a 6800 to replace it but would love to get it fixed, currently it's a pretty big paperweight :p

I'll have a go with some different drivers. To be fair i havent updated in 3-4months, maybe thats the cause.
