Hi,

I never got around to posting this so I decided to give it a go...

I built this gaming PC around 1 year ago for £715. I am extremely happy with the components I was recommended at the time and it is still running like a beast.

Case: Thermaltake Chaser A31
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87-D3HP
Processor: Intel Core i5-4670k 3.40GHz Haswell Socket 1150
CPU Cooler: Be Quiet! Shadow Rock SR1 Pro
Graphics: VTX3D Radeon HD 7870 Black Boost Edition
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB Blue
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA 6GB/s
PSU: Corsair GS600 Gaming PSU

I also fitted some nice LED 5050 strips to the inside of the window and behind my monitor which are powered through MOLEX so they come on at the same time the computer is powered, gives a very nice feel.

I have cable managed the best I can but I will need to buy some nice blue/black extensions for PCIe and possibly some nice SATA leads too to clear it out a bit better.

Hope you like it

:)

Really nice build there mate. Cables have been very neatly dealt with.

How do you find the case?

I bought some nice Blue/Black braided 24pin and 6 pin extensions and also some nice Blue UV SATA 3 cables... Really completes the build.

Was also able to put the cables downwards like recommended as I made a small black piece of wood to hold the GPU up to prevent sagging :)

What you think?
