Gigabyte windforce 7970 bios?

Some of you may remember me posting last week that I bought said card and bios 1 did not work out the box. Now, this was my 2nd card I had bought in a week (1st HIS 7970 was DOA out the box) and I cant really be bothered to send it back. I had planned on flashing bios to a ghz bios to match the other card in my crossfire set up but it is plenty fast enough without overclocking them. What I would like to do though is flash bios number 1 so it at least works. If I plug the card in with no drivers I get a display, however if I install drivers, after the reboot it says no amd drivers were detected when I try to open ccc. So, I was hoping one of you kind souls may have the bios for the gigabyte windforce 7970 non bios edition.clocks being-925/1375. Any help or advice would leave me a very happy man!

look on techpowerup.com's bios archive,they might have a bios on there

Im a bit of a noob at bios flashing so is there any way it can be done like the ghz type flash ie through windows?

Not really worth risking it through Windows.
Dos is enough enough.

Ok, thanks again. Do you guys think I should send it back? I would have but thinking about it we managed for years with cards only having one bios. If it had been my first card I would have but as one had already been returned I think I will just leave it.

isnt there bios versions on gigabytes website for that card? there should be a list of them

and gigabyte have there own utility for flashing the bios similar to @BIOS but its windows based,it should work fine for a one off flash
