gigabyte woes

Bought this for a sff gaming rig, and i cant belive theres no option to adjust the memory voltage :/ its set at a lowly 1.8v, all mmy ram runs at 2.2v

Is there an updated bios or anything, otherwise i'm knackered

Dont you have to press Ctrl-I on gigabyte mother boards to open the extra menus. Check the manual.

theres no extra bios settings on this board, and i have the f3 bios, which is pretty recent

looks like the memory voltage is not adjustable, cant belive it, what a pile of ****

Thats strange as i always use Gigabyte boards (including some cheap ones) and theres always been an option to change the ram voltage.

Are you sure you cant adjust it... It might be like +0.1 +0.2 etc rather than keying in the exact number.

theres no option for memory voltage, only cpu vcore, no other voltages are adjustable

press control F1 on the main bios screen and then it will display more options on the main bios menu.

The cheap gigabyte is designed for cheap ram which runs at 1.8v

I'm guessing you've got decent stuff which needs 2,1v ?
