Gigabyte X1900 Problems

Hi i have a X1900 where ive been having some problems lately which are when ever i start up my PC about 5 mins into using it the screen will start to flash and when i say try to load a page in firefox it wont start till load until it has flashed again, the flashes are about 2-3 secons apart and this goes on for about 5-10 mins then just stops and everything is fine,

Define screen flashing, also what drivers are you using ?

Well the Driver is Catalyst® Version 07.4, and the flashing is well say im in the midle of typing a sentance the screen will freeze and everything on the screen will stop then it will blink then the rest of the sentence will be appared on the screen if i keep typing then this will carry on and on for around 10 mins, hope that explain it enough.
