Gigabyte x58 ud3 or ud5 whats the difference

does anyone know the what is the difference between these boards been look the same and specs seem the same...only difference really is the heat syncs i can see.

From what I remember of UD3/UD5 comparisons, the only real difference is in the expansion slots, PCI/PCI-E

The UD5 has SLi the UD3 does not.

The ud3 does do sli so its not that lol....any one else know the difference thanks.

Sorry mate the P67A-UD3 does NOT do Sli. They do Crossfire. For there to be Sli a NF200 chip is needed.

Except he's asking about X58 boards, not P67. The X58 UD3 does do SLI. I've got one sat next to me.

The X58 UD3 does most certainly have Sli.

It's a pity Gigabyte aren't a little more consistent in their feature sets.
