Hi, apologies for the noobish question, just want reassurances

Where is the northbridge on this pic?

Just left of the CPU socket.

What's that cooler beneath the socket then?
I take it the southbridge is to the right of the PCI-E slots

Are you looking at the board as pictured or the correct way up?

X58 boards dont have a northbridge, or southbridge....

The cooler with Ultra Durable is the southbridge, the larger heatsink with Gigabyte is the Northbridge.

I am looking at the photo as is displayed.
