Forgive this really stupid question but better safe then sorry, On the above motherboard do you have to remove the small backplate on the mobo to fit a TRUE cooler then put the s1336 backplate in its place or is it as simple as putting the s1336 TRUE backplate ontop if i did they make contact is the safe?

Does your s1336 bracket make conatct with the mobo backplate to on that cooler?

I'm pretty sure it didn't touch on my Noctua, if memory serves.

There must be others with a UD5 and a TRUE though...

yeah thanks all i kept it on, all built and vista is on all drivers update looks like my board has the LAN bug after going to sleep no big deal.
Every thing at stock nothing at toched in bois at she 54c prime 95..hmmm dont look good those temps but oh well may the learning curve begin
