Gigabyte X79 board. Do you disable all of these features.

In the general guides its states to DISABLE all of the following advanced CPU features, but is anyone doing this on a Gigabyte X79 board?

At the moment have just have CPU Thermal Monitor disabled.

C1E-DISABLE
EIST-DISABLE
C3, C6 States-DISABLE
CPU Thermal Monitor-DISABLE

Those are power saving features that will clock your CPU down to 1600mhz or so when idle, it's up to you whether you want to disable them or not... it's generally easier to overclock without them.
